FINAL SOLUTION
INSTALL TIMERS TO ALL THINGS THAT USE ENERGY. WHEN MACHINES ARE IDLE IT MAKES NOISE LIKE AN ALARM. THEN AFTER A WHILE THE MACHINE TURNS ITSELF OFF AFTER A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME OF NOT BEING USED.
TANGIBLE SCENARIO
A STUDENT USES THE SEWING MACHINE IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY AND LEAVES IT IDLE TO ANSWER A PHONE CALL. THE MACHINE STARTS TO MAKE NOISE, BUT NO ONE TURNS IT OFF AND AFTER 15 MINUTES THE MACHINE TURNS ITSELF OFF.

A STUDENT USES THE SEWING MACHINE IN THE STUDIO AND LEAVES THE MACHINE TO FINISH HER WORK AT HER TABLE. THE ALARM GOES OFF, BUT THE STUDENT IS LISTENING TO MUSIC THROUGH HER EARPHONES. THE STUDENTS ARE NOW ANNOYED OF THE NOISE AND CAN NOT CONCENTRATE. ANOTHER STUDENT NOTIFIES HER ABOUT THIS AND TURNS THE MACHINE OFF.

CHALLENGES
• THE ALARM MAY DISTURB THE STUDENTS
• IF TOO MANY MACHINES ARE LEFT IDLE, IT MAY BECOME TOO LOUD (hopefully, this will force the students to turn off their machines)
