Recall of objectives

• Increase the number of PROBA data acquisitions through the use of Kiruna Station in addition to Redu

• Ensure long term mission data archiving• Enable access to PROBA EO data within the Esrin

multi-mission user service• Extend the data access to a wider user community.

Equipment• 10 m multi-mission antenna and receiving chain.• Enertec Proba front-end • Ftp serverOperations• Receive daily acquisition schedules from Redu• Acquire 5 passes per day• Forward daily acquired data to SIRA via ftp• Operational since June 2003

Esrin Multi-Mission user serivce upgrade

• PROBA/Chris browse and catalogue data are ingested and made available through MUIS service.

• Chris products generated by SIRA are regularly ingested and archived into AMS system

• All data aquired since June 2003 are presently available on MUIS.

• Full mission historical data have been also recived by SIRA and are being archived

• An ftp product delivery system is being set-up for user data distribution of recent data

Access to data

• PI users: issue of observation requests over target sites and retireve of L1b products through RSAC and SIRA (continuation of present scheme)

• Other users: access to existing data through Muis and retrieve from mm archive via ftp (by summer 2004); possibility for satellite programming not yet envisaged and to be discussed according to satellite availability;

• Requests for Disaster management (Charter - see F.Sarti presentation): high priority requests to be issued from Esrin to Redu and served on a best effort basis (end to end loop to be experimented in the next months ).
