Dear Detective Perley,
Thank you for contacting our organization with the subpoena for
records dated
April 22, 2013, from the Village of Glencoe. Our company takes
all subpoenas
from law enforcement seriously. Our company offers a private VPN
service
wherein subscribers access the internet from public wire- less
internet locations
without fear of surveillance by third parties. Our company
offers an encrypted
VPN tunnel used by members of our military while they are abroad
and for expa-
triates or travelers to access video and other content only
available to them froman IP address located within that
territory.
Your request pertained to parties that may have accessed
internet protocol ad-
dress 184.75.214.66 on February 19, 2013 at 05:23 UTC through
the
PrivateInternetAccess.com network. Our system utilizes shared IP
addresses to
route internet traffic across the VPN network. As a result,
hundreds of subscrib-
ers may be using a particular IP address at a certain time.
Unfortunately, we do
not have information dating that far back relating to which
subscribers were us-
ing the IP address 184.75.214.66 on February 19, 2013 at 05:23
UTC.
