Using Carson McCullers' The Heart is a Lonely Hunter and Sarah Gubbins' fml: how Carson McCullers saved my life as emotional touchstones, the show will examine the moment when self-preservation and the compulsion to express ones feelings meet - when 'the love that dares not', actually dares. This is not an exclusively "queer" show, more "queer-ish", a show of all people who have loved in the face of oppo- sition.

This is a show about how

an artist's sexual identity relates to the way in which they

express their desire. This is not an exclusively "queer" show, more "queer-ish", a show of all people who have loved in the face of oppo-sition.
