Hi Friend!

I'm so excited you signed up for this Priority Planning Mini Course! We’re going to break free from a to-do list that overwhelms, and create one that helps you focus on the right things…the most important things.

I know just how easy it is to fill your day with tasks that seem urgent, but don't help you accomplish your biggest goals. There's so much to do, and so little time to do it. But at the end of the week, month, or even year, don't you want to look back and see that you've made a little progress?

That's exactly what these PrioritySheets and video lessons help you do.

We're going to clear the clutter in your mind and organize each task into it's proper place. We'll break down big projects into small, doable action steps. And by the time you're finished, you'll know exactly what you need to accomplish next, while still making room for the things you actually WANT to do!

Finally, to get the full benefit of this course, I strongly recommend you take 15 minutes each day to watch the video and go through that days steps in your worksheets. I know you might be tempted to work ahead, but giving your brain space to breathe each day will make sure you're fully focused.

Your first video should be on it's way, but if you don't see it, be sure to check your spam or promotion folder just in case!

Talk soon,

Kalyn Brooke

BRAINDUMP STEP 1: Use this space to clear your mind of any tasks weighing on you right now. What are the things you NEED to accomplish, but feel like you don't have any time to get done? How about the things you WANT to accomplish, but don't have any time to pursue?

STEP 2: Go back through your Brain Dump, and take care of any task that will take 10 minutes or less to do. Cross off the task when finished.

STEP 3: Assign a due date {if applicable} to any task that has a hard deadline.

STEP 4: Transfer each task into one of three boxes below, being careful not to overload the top box. Remember, if everything is a priority, then nothing is a priority.

I also want you to make room for at least 1-2 of your“WANT TO's in that top box. These are things that excite you the most or would make the biggest impact in your life right now. It's how we're going to make your biggest dreams and goals happen!

STEP 5: Now I want you to ignore everything you put in the last two boxes and commit to put 100% of your efforts into the Top Priority box until EVERY task is complete. This is your focus for the next month, ninety days, or however long it takes. Resist the urge to get distracted and you'll make 10x more progress than you ever did before.

STEP 6: As you look through each task in that top box, I want you to note whether it is a habit, an actual task, or a project. Every task that requires more than one action is technically a project.

• Highlight or circle all tasks in BLUE • Highlight or circle all habits in PURPLE • Highlight or circle all projects in GREEN

Use the following Project Breakdown page for each project {print off as many as you need}, and break down each project into smaller steps.

STEP 7: Transfer at least one task from your Top Priority box and/or an action step from your Project Breakdown page over to your weekly planner each week. Whether you use a Bullet Journal or a regular planner, make sure to have a dedicated “priority focus” section so you're always working toward your most important tasks.

If you listed a habit as one of your top priorities, include a weekly habit tracker in your planner to keep track of your progress. You can use the following planning page as your weekly setup, or as inspiration to create your own.

NOTE: Every few months, you may need to “reset” and work through your PrioritySheets again. Tasks that were not as important before can change based on your current circumstances. Or, you may have added tasks that weren't factored in when you did your initial assessment. The key is to never let what feels URGENT outweigh the IMPORTANT. You always want to make room for those top priorities!
