description: This pet store themed game is designed to promote development of turn taking, following directions, visual motor, fine motor skills, bilateral coordination, counting (1 to 1 correspondence), number awareness, and handwriting skills.
purpose of game: Single Player: Clip and print all the words/letters. Beat previous timed game. Multi-Player: The first player to clip all 10 clothespins on their game board and write all ten forest animals on their game card wins! materials needed: One Game Board for each player One Game Card (printing paper) for each player (3 Versions attached based on skill level of
player) One die One pencil for each player 10 clothespins for each player
preparation of game: Print out game boards and game cards. Cut out game boards. Each player receives one game board and one game card. Each player has a pencil and ten clothespins.
Game directions: 1. This can be a single player or multi-player game. 2. To decide which player goes first, each player rolls the die. The player with the highest number
goes first. 3. Player one rolls the die. 4. Player one clips a clothespin on their game board to reflect the number rolled on the die.
For example: If they rolled a number one, they could clip a clothespin on the hamster or the dog. 5. They then print that animal’s name (or first upper case letter) on their game card. 6. The remaining players then repeat steps 3 - 5. 7. If a player rolls a number that they have already clipped, they lose their turn. 8. The first player to successfully clip and print all ten animals first wins!
