Graphic Design

Graphic Design students learn to apply the elements and principles of art and design. Computers are

used as a tool for creating work. Projects will be primarily created digitally; with limited works created

by hand. Students will learn to use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign. Students

will become proficient in industry based software while learning how to be productive, solve problems,

develop original ideas, organize thoughts, budget time, and be successful.

Animation

This course is designed to give students exposure to a wide range animation techniques. Students will

explore the history and evolution of early animation. Emphasis will be on the processes involved in

creation of animation stressing teamwork, story-boarding, character development, and concept design.

Students will learn, applications in Adobe Animate CC, Adobe Bridge and also applications available

through Autodesk such as Maya, 3DS Max, Arnold and Mudbox.

Principles of Construction is intended to provide an introduction and lay a solid foundation for

those students entering the construction or craft skilled areas. The course provides a strong knowledge of
