Manager of Development , Oxford Properties Group The industry veteran is not unfamiliar with stickhandling, having spent 8 years in the real estate world with Oxford Properties Group. Inspired by watching Canada win the World Junior Championship at the ACC with his brother, Tim was quick to register with Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer, and since 2011, has seen OXFORD raise over $80,000 across their teams. Why does Tim play? For his dad, uncle and grandmother, and is very proud to see Oxford’s participation in Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer grow from just a handful of players to two full teams. Associate Vice President, CBRE Scott Harper has achieved a lot of goals through his 20 years with CBRE Limited, but also takes great pride in seeing CBRE raise $50,000 since 2011. Why does Scott participate in Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer? Because he saw his mother lose her fight to cancer in 2008. There is great vengeance in Scott’s game. As a kid of 10, Scott and his teammates were beaten badly by the Neapean Raiders in his first out- of-town tournament, but finally earned their revenge when they won the tournament 7 years later. Vice President, NKF Devencore After 20 years in the industry, Patrick Langdon scored his position at Devencore NKF 4 years ago. There are few regrets in his life…other than the Maple Leafs’ dramatic loss to Los Angeles in the 1993 Conference Final. Why does Patrick play in Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer? For his Mom, Dad and a sister who were lost to the disease and for a sister currently battling cancer. Patrick loved playing in the 2014 event despite a broken toe, but realized that if his loved ones can deal with cancer treatment, he could put up with his pain. Patrick Langdon and NKF Devencore have proudly raised over $25,000 in Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer since 2013.
