Dear Customers,As per directions issued by Reserve Bank of India (RBI),

BJP is a party of ‘poisonous people’, says SoniaKOTA, RAJASTHAN, Nov 23:
UPA chairperson SoniaGandhi today attacked BJP say-ing it is a party of “poisonouspeople” which spreads nothingbut rumours.
“BJP is spreading rumoursthat the drugs of Rajasthan flag-ship ‘Free Medicine Scheme’ arepoison, but the fact is that theparty that is spreading suchrumours is the party of poison-
ous people,” Sonia said at a rallyhere.
Rajasthan will go to the pollson December 1.
She alleged that BJP is pro-jecting “lies as realities” and ithas nothing substantial with itbut “the very greed for power”.
“BJP fails to see the progressbut sees only the darkness,” shealleged in her 12-minute addressto a gathering of about 12,000
people at Ummad stadium here.“The Congress government
in Rajasthan has worked for pub-lic welfare through severalschemes in its current tenure butthe party in opposition, BJP, con-tinues to criticise for the same,”said Sonia, who was clad in ablue sari.
“BJP continues to criticisebut the Congress governmentwill continue to work for theprogress of the people,” she said.
Sonia said UPA’s flagshipschemes were revolutionary innature and questioned,”why BJPdid not introduce and implementsuch public welfare schemesduring its regime?”
Appreciating Ashok Gehlot-led Rajasthan government forsuccessfully implementing sev-
eral flagship schemes, Sonia saidCongress believes in strengthen-ing the common man.
Stressing on various schemesof the Centre, as well as of thestate government, Sonia said,“No one can go to bed withoutfood as we have given FoodSecurity Act, and to check thecorruption, our government hasbrought Right to InformationAct.”
Social Security Bill, LandAcquisition Bill, MNREGA arethe other achievements of theCongress government towardsthe public welfare, Sonia said.
“Congress is also farmerfriendly, as it has increased thegovernment’s purchase of thecrops,” the Congress leaderclaimed.(PTI)
