Nepal earthquake Nepal has recently had a very tragic event happen on Anzac day when an earthquake broke out. The earthquake destroyed many homes, roads, buildings, and left many people homeless, as well as claiming many loved one’s lives. Nepal is located above India in Asia and in that area they unfortunately have a lot of earthquakes. The reason for this is because of tectonic plates in the crust of the earth. The tectonic plates are like a big jigsaw puzzle in the crust of the earth. And places like Nepal are on the edge of tectonic plates so they will collide and create large earthquakes. Australia are lucky because we are on the middle of the plate and don’t get serious earthquakes like Nepal do. This earthquake caused many disasters such as smashed buildings and crushed roads. But the most dangerous disaster was that the earthquake caused many avalanches on various mountains and even Mount Everest, the biggest mountain in the world. By Jem and Hayden

Nepal earthquake

Nepal has recently had a very tragic event happen on Anzac day when an earthquake broke out. The earthquake destroyed many homes, roads, buildings,

and left many people homeless, as well as claiming many loved one’s lives.

Nepal is located above India in Asia and in that area they unfortunately have a lot of earthquakes.

The reason for this is because of tectonic plates in the crust of the earth. The tectonic plates are like a

big jigsaw puzzle in the crust of the earth. And places like Nepal are on the edge of tectonic plates so they will collide and create large earthquakes. Australia are lucky because we are on the middle of the plate and don’t get serious earthquakes like

Nepal do.

This earthquake caused many disasters such as smashed buildings and crushed roads. But the most dangerous disaster was that the earthquake caused many avalanches on various mountains and even Mount

Everest, the biggest mountain in the world.
