Message

Prime Electrical is an Electrical Construction company which was established in 1998 in Estcourt. We are celebrating this

year, 21 years of success in providing quality service to our clients.

We are currently breaking barriers and increasing our footprint in providing local and international high voltage

transmission, sub-transmission, distribution and electrification projects, ranging from 11 kV to 400 kV. As corporate citizens

we are dedicated to investing our time in skills development initiatives. We achieve this through in- house learning

opportunities, and further support for the growth of smaller businesses.

Our quality management system certification is audited by Bureau Veritas is an international certification agency, an UKAS

accredited body. We are proud to be certified on ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015 since 2018. Our offices are situated

in East London (Head Office), Estcourt and Bloemfontein.

Prime Electrical, founded in 1998, is an electrical construction company based in Estcourt, Kwa-Zulu Natal. Later

the company grew with offices based now in the Eastern Cape and the Free State area’s performing the following

construction activities, Providing Engineering Services with regards to erection, installation, stringing and

commissioning of 11 kV to 400kV power transmission lines, constructing of Sub Stations, Rural Electrification and

similar Turnkey projects..

2014/15 – Electrical Engineering (Distribution) Level 2:

In 2014 Prime Electrical rolled out its first Learnership Program in Electrical Engineering Level 2 (Distribution). 15 Learners were enrolled with the Master Artisan Academy of South-Africa,

and we are glad to confirm that all 15 learners completed their first year successfully.

2015/16 – Electrical Engineering (Distribution) Level 3:

14 of the 15 learners have successfully completed Level 2 in 2014/15, has now advanced to Level 3 in our programme, Electrical Engineering (Distribution).

2016/17 - Electrical Engineering (Distribution) Level 4:

14 Learners have successfully completed Level 3 in 2015/16, and has now advanced to Level 4 in our programme, Electrical Engineering (Distribution). Learners will be able to do their Trade

Test towards the end of 2017.

2017/18 – Electrical Engineering (Distribution) Level 2:

Prime Electrical has rolled out its 2nd Learnership Program in Electrical Engineering Level 2 (Distribution). 15 learners were enrolled with Master Artisan Academy of South- Africa on the 4th

September 2017

2018/19

Prime Electrical rolled out another Learnership Program in Electrical Engineering Level 2 (Distribution). 15 Learners were enrolled with Master Artisan Academy of South Africa on the 12th

February 2018 and has implemented an approved and verified Mentorship Program together with SHEFA
