Read Write Inc – LI: To introduce the special friend ng. Complete Monday worksheet - Introduce the new sound ‘ng’ to your child. Ask your child to circle or point to the sound in the words as they read them.

Free play – indoor/ outdoorMaths – LI: To count fluently to 10. Use chalk to draw a hopscotch template on the floor. Ask your child to jump, step or hop along it, counting the numbers as they move. Ask a child to stand on a number and jump on a given number (up to 5). Encourage children to say the story with you. Repeat with different starting numbers and numbers of jumps.
