ZOOM LIKE THE TGV (Train à Grande Vitesse = high speed train) ACROSS THE COUNTRYSIDE.Practice la posture du bâton (Staff Pose): Sit with a tall spine with your legs straight out in front of you, and use your hands to mimic the wheels of the train going around and around.

Did you notice that we used 2 different words to mean ‘it’ in French?For le cheval, le lapin, le mouton, we used ‘il’ but for la souris, we used ‘elle’. This is because le cheval, le lapin and le mouton are masculine nouns, so we use the word for he (‘il’) in French. La souris is feminine, so we use the word for she (‘elle’) in French.
