Have a look at the complete adverts to see if you successfully used the clues in the posters to work out the products or slogans (attached!). What gave you a clue?

You should have invented a new gadget that a superhero would want to use!  Check that you have labelled what it does, how it works and what materials you would use to make it.

FINE! MR KEENAN IS FORCING ME TO GIVE YOU THE ANSWERS SO HERE THEY ARE!

(see attached)

(Geography) For the challenge, you might’ve found that if you follow the River Thames East, it gets wider until it flows into the English Channel (sea). Was it longer than you thought?

(BSL) You should’ve learnt the signs for mummy, daddy, sister, brother, uncle, aunty, cousin, grandma, grandad and friend. Did you teach any of them how to sign ‘I love you too’?

ityRadio adverts are a really popular way for companies to try to get people to buy their items! All radio adverts have a script that the actors read from! Read the script of the radio advert for a cleaning spray (attached). Have a go at reading it with lots of exciting expressions - remember the more exciting and interesting the advert, the more persuasive it is! Could you include some different voices to make it entertaining? Don’t forget to perform it to your family - would they buy the cleaning spray?

Now you have created your new superhero gadget, you need to sell it to as many superheroes as possible!  Remember, there are lots of superhero gadgets out there, so you will need to persuade them that yours is the best! Create an eye catching poster to advertise your new gadget.  Remember to use exciting adjectives to show everyone how amazing it is!  You can use the word bank below to help you. Challenge: Try using alliteration to grab people’s attention e.g. Buy this heroic, humongous hammer!

HELLO! NO MR KEENAN THIS TIME. YOU’RE GETTING TAUGHT BY THE MATHS GOBLIN...FWIDASJHFIOJASF IOJWEIGAGIAJ.

Phew! Hi everyone. Mr Keenan here. See if you can complete some of my number bonds to 100, using the number bonds to 10 to help you (attached).

Challenge: Can you explain how you found the missing numbers?

Musical instruments can be put into two categories: tuned and untuned. An untuned instrument plays the same pitch, e.g. a drum, a rain stick or a maraca. Can you think of any others? Have a go at making your own untuned instrument out of recycled materials. For ideas, see the link below. Experiment with how different materials affect the sound. Practise creating different rhythms and dynamics (loud and soft) with your new instrument. Can you play it along to your favourite song?

Today we are going to practise the body parts in Spanish again. Your challenge is to learn the song ‘Cabeza hombros rodillas Y pies’ (Head, shoulders, knees and toes).

Sing along with the video below. Can you keep up as the song gets faster and faster?
