Womens' Day Celebrations

Womens' Day was celebrated in the school in an innovative way. The entire faculty started the day with

pranayama, walking and warm-up exercises. The celebration ended up with the feast which comprised of

sprouts and salads.

Traffic Awareness Programme

On 15–02-2018 (Thursday) Bengaluru Traffic Police presented a demonstration on road safety, to create an

awareness on traffic rules for classes VI and VII.

Republic Day Celebrations

The 69th Republic Day was celebrated on a grand scale. The Chief Guest of the day Wg.Cdr. V. Shiv Kumar

unfurled the National Flag and received the guard of honour. Shri V.V. Bhat , Hon. Secretary , Shri H.S.

KANNADA RAJYOTSAVA

Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated on 03.11.2017 . The programme commenced by lighting of the lamp by Sri

V. V. Bhat Hon. Secretary, Principals Mrs. Myna Reddy N.S and Mrs. G.K Usha inaugurated the function. The

event started with singing of Nada Geethe. Students spoke about the history of Karnataka , richness of Kannada

language and Jnanapeetha Awardees. Models of Hampi, Mysore Palace , Dasara Procession were exhibited .

Annual Exhibition "EDU VISION" was held on 28.10.2017. DR. SANJEEV P. MARADUR Asst.

Professor,Poornaprajna Institute of Scientific Research inaugurated the exhibition and interacted with the

children. He encouraged the children by asking many questions and had a fun time in solving puzzles and

riddles.

2017 between 8.45 a.m. and 10.30 a.m.

2) VII Std. Meeting was held between 1.15 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. in presence of students, parents, subject teachers

and Principals of Primary and High School .

Smile Foundation Programme

The School contributed Rupees 61,000/- to the foundation to bring up the underprivileged children.

Sanskrit Habba

Sanskrit Habba was celebrated on 18.08.2017 by the enthusiastic students and staff in the school premises. The

function was celebrated to understand the importance of Sanskrit language, the 'Mother of all languages'. The

function started with the lighting of the lamp by the Principal Mrs. Myna Reddy N.S. Children entertained the

audience with a skit and songs in Sanskrit.

Independence Day Celebrations

The Independence Day was celebrated with great patriotic fervour. The Chief Guest was Captain Rajagopal

Reddy B.N. The function commenced with a guard of honour. This was followed by the unfurling of the

Tricolour flag, singing of the National Anthem and the March-Past lead by the school leaders and the captains

of the four houses. The highlight of the function was the dance by tiny tots from class I-IV. Students of class

VII gave Speeches in Kannada and Hindi which kindled our patriotism.Children sang a patriotic song which

enthralled the audience. The chief guest gave an inspiring speech. Students - the future citizens of our nation

took an Oath to serve the country.

Fervour and gusto. The day was celebrated in reminiscence of Founder President H.H Sri Vibudhesha Theertha

Swamiji.

Well-being Out of Waste

"Wealth Out of Waste (WOW)", a recycling programme was initiated on 23.6.17 by the Paperboards &

Specialty Papers business of ITC, has evolved into a corporate level programme with scope enhanced to "Well-

being out of waste" focused on creating scalable solutions for spreading awareness about recycling, encouraging

people to segregate & dispose waste responsibly and creating sustainable livelihoods for people working as rag

pickers. Students brought waste papers that include newspapers, old notebooks, magazines, etc. of total 475kgs.

Parent Interaction Programme was held on 17th June 2017 for VI standard. Resource Person Mr. Venkatasubba

Rao conducted the workshop on the topic "Performance Vs. Learning". Parents were satisfied and happy with

the programme.

Educational Trip to Vidhanasoudha for students of Class VII

An Educational Trip was organised for Class VII to Vidhana Soudha on 08.06.2017. Children saw both the

houses in action . Later they had been to Cubbon Park.

World Environment Day

A Walkathon was held to spread awareness among the public to protect Mother Earth on the occasion of World

Environment Day. Students of class VI and VII visited the BBMP park in the vicinity and planted a sapling in

the park. Students from Class I planted few saplings in the school garden.

Parent-Teacher meeting for Class VII

VII standard Parent Teacher Meeting was held in the Auditorium on 27.05.2017. Primary Principal Mrs. Myna

Reddy. N.S. and High School Principal Sri H.S.Ramesh addressed the gathering and guided the parents and

students with the curriculum of the academic year 2017-18. A Power point presentation was presented with

respect to the activities of the Primary School. S.S.L.C. results were also highlighted to motivate the students.
