Please note - AT NO TIME IS IT APPROPRIATE FOR A PARENT TO DIRECTLY ADDRESS OR CONFRONT ANOTHER STUDENT RIDING BIKES TO AND FROM SCHOOL Last term we were made aware that some children have been riding bikes to and from school. As a school we have generally discouraged riding to school as a means of transport for primary school age children, to minimize the risk for our students. The recommendation from the Education Department states that children under the age of twelve years do not have the neuro-physiological and psychological development to cope with complex traffic situations on their own. Please contact the office if you have nay questions regarding this policy. CONSUMABLE ITEM PAYMENT AND CSEF GRANT The Consumable Item payment of $130.00 per child is now overdue. This payment covers the Students Essential Items which are the books, stationery pencils, etc. that they will need for the entire year. A breakdown of these items was sent home with your childs report at the end of 2016. If you would like a copy of this please call at the school office. A payment booklet is available for families who wish to pay this amount in instalments. A deposit is required and then we will issue you with a payment book. CSEF GRANT If you have a current Health Care Card or Pension Card and have not yet claimed for the CSEF Grant, could you do so as soon as possible as applications close shortly.
