2. BRIEF BACKGROUND Brainchild of Peter Mdlalose to develop

African version of a European concept Annual ‘Golden Boot Award’ – honour

retired World football stars – Monte Carlo Creation of concept similar to the

Hollywood Walk of Fame

3. PROPOSED ARRANGEMENT Legal ownership remains with Igolide

Footprints (Pty) Limited City of Cape Town hold the rights to: - host annual gala event - promote permanent football tourism

structure – ‘The Promenade’

5. SELECTION OF INDUCTEES Set up an eminently qualified panel of

experts who will agree on a list of 20 suitable candidates for induction in 2008

1st year propose 12 inductions as follows: South African AfricanDeceased 2 2Currently alive 4 4

- The final 12 inductees to be confirmed by voting ballot involving general public (via sms system to be devised)

- Thereafter, 2 South African and 2 African candidates to be inducted annually following a voting process by the general public

- In 1st year publicly recognise Messrs Khosa, Jordaan and Oliphant for World Cup 2010.
