STANDARD FEATURES AND OPTIONSBy lifting a lever on the right hand side, under the seat, the seat height can be adjusted.

Behind the seat height lever can be found the back lock adjustment. Lift this lever and the

chair back will move freely back and forth. Once the desired position has been established,

push down the lever to lock the back.

The seat lock lever can be found on the right hand side under the seat. By lifting this lever the

seat angle can be adjusted. Push down the lever to lock the seat into the desired position.

This posture control allows both seat and back to move freely back and forth in unison,

offering permanent back support. This movement is obtained by lifting a lever on the right

hand side under the seat. Push down this lever to lock the movement into the desired position.

A handwheel can be found under the front seat, by turning this clockwise the tension can be

increased to suit individual bodyweight. A safety device is also incorporated which prevents

the mechanism operating unless the user is in contact with the chair back.

Access, Formula, Kite, Spectrum and Activa Plus, when fitted with optional adjustable arms

have a small lever just below the arm pads, which when lifted allow the arms to be placed in

the desired position.

Premier and Activa ranges offer an auto-option. The arm positions can be adjusted by simply

lifting them to the required position.

There are two methods of back height adjustment. By unscrewing a small handwheel under

the chair back, the back can be raised or lowered. The handwheel can be tightened once the

desired position has been found. Alternatively, the back height can be altered using the "Auto

Back Height Adjustment". Simply lift the back into the required position.

This facility allows the user to adjust the lumbar area manually.

The lumbar area can be altered pneumatically by pumping air into the chair back.

As an alternative to the black plastic outer back, this area can be upholstered to match the

facings.

The seat can be moved forward by up to 75mm by lifting a small lever under the seat.

As an alternative to the standard seat (size 430mm front to back/455mm side to side) a larger

seat can be incorporated measuring (size 470mm front to back/490mm side to side)

Active chairs are designed to meet FIRA S Level.

Active undertake to repair or replace any structural part that becomes faulty under normal

conditions of use, provided that the product is returned to the distributor within five years of

manufacture.
