you understand the type of project you can expect, within the 4 most typical price ranges . We’ve included 2 example projects

per price bracket. Obviously, every site & client needs are different, & each project needs to be designed & costed individually,

especially depending on how much of the project you’re willing to arrange yourself. So use our examples as “guides” to slot

yourself into the price range you’re comfortable with. Once you’ve done that, you can more accurately instruct us how to

start designing & refine our costings to fit your financial expectations. We look forward to exploring your project needs with

Researching & buying a pool can be confusing at the best of times ,

especially if you’re a first time buyer. Part of the unfortunate

problem is that many Swimming Pool Companies use “bait & switch

advertising” , omitt inclusions/exclusions , or simply confuse the

process with details that make you think a whole project can be

achieved for unrealistic amounts. For sure, anyone can build a

basic shell, coping, interior & equipment for under $30,000, but

that’s not what you’ll end up spending on the overall project & its

surrounds. Our “Price Guides” cut to the truth by being honest &

transparent, so you’re fully aware of how much to allocate, whether

or not you choose to do just the pool with us.

Often people fall into the trap of thinking that they are getting the

same pool for less money, but end up spending just as much (if

not more) when it’s all too late . It’s just not worth taking the risk

with such an important investment in your family & lifestyle .

Something uniquely Majestic is that we design to any budget;

whether it be a basic pool or something more elaborate to match

the home & surrounds. You see, concrete is concrete no matter

where you buy it; but what’s important is how you design &

shape it , & how the project fits together as a true lifestyle change;

not the technical details that people often focus on.

Other companies don’t like to admit it, but the truth

is that most pool companies are about the same

price; if an identical pool/project is being built .

That said, identical comparisons are impossibile

as most pool company’s pools & processes are so

different to each other, & a lot of what we do that’s

different can’t be seen in comparison quotes .

Put honestly, price differences in our industry

only happen when there’s differences in product

& process; & differences between proposals aren’t

obvious without keen industry knowledge. That’s

why working out which company you decide to trust

in your backyard is really the main decision you

should be spending your time on . Price & design

will fall into place if you do dilligent research, &

choose proven credibility & history over price.

If someone tries to sell you a pool without properly

understanding your site & specific needs, show

them the door - it’s just not worth the risk . We

BASIC POOL ONLY / $30-35,000

These two projects are typical examples of basic pool-only

backyards, enhancing the property & lifestyle by innovative

design, & interesting use of space. Don’t be mistaken that a basic

pool-only project can’t add real value to your property.

Works the owner would typically arrange for are; pool fencing

(aluminium or glass), surrounds (incl. paving/decking), boundary

fence & painting, electrical , landscaping (hard/soft).

Things that push projects like this into the upper end (or the next

price bracket) could be; minor paved surrounds , optional rock-

neck , waterfall , water feature , crane sized granite rocks , coping

upgrades , larger earthworks allowance , any site difficulties ,

out-of-ground construction, tile band , pebble interior upgrades ,

and any non-standard council permits/relaxations etc.

If the pool size is kept small, the site & structural

aspects are straightforward, & pool features kept to

a minimum; then minor surrounds or basic fencing

could fall within this price range. Typical inclusions

you could expect are:

more than a “basic pool”, these yards are cleverly designed to

be memorable, matching the value/design of the home, and add

substantial overall value to the property & owners’ lifestyles.

You could also expect a limited selection of things like; basic

fencing , basic surrounds (paving / minor decking), small

waterfall , water/other feature , granite rocks , stone upgrades ,

extra earthworks allowance , minimal out-of-ground , basic tile-

band , suction cleaner , some soft landscaping , pebble interior

upgrades etc. A larger combination of these aspects can push the

project to the higher end/over this price bracket; especially with

more substantial surrounds , retaining / out-of-ground .

them into the lower-mid range. Such projects are designed as a

prominent design/lifestyle feature the home, adding substantial

value. Designs typically cater for water, “sunning-space”, shade,

privacy, & generally include some memorable design feature.

You could expect a larger selection of things like; glass fencing ,

surrounds (paving/decking), waterfall , water/other feature ,

crane-sized granite rocks , stone upgrades , extra earthworks

allowance , some out-of-ground construction, waterline tiles ,

automatic cleaner , some soft landscaping , pebble interior

upgrades etc. A larger combination of these aspects can push the

project to the higher end/over this price bracket; especially with

substantial surrounds , structures , retaining , out-of-ground .

These two projects are great examples of full concept projects, that

have most or all aspects of the yard catered for. These projects

become selling points & showpieces of the property, and are most

often designed with extensive entertainment in mind.

Design aspects to be expected in projects like this might include;

shade/entertainment structures (semi-closed or open) out-

of-ground construction , concreted stone or decking surrounds ,

glass panels , landscaping (hard/soft), heating & lighting etc.

Things that would push projects like this into the higher end

(or over) this price bracket could be; size of pool , extra site

difficulties , lager than standard earthworks allowance , extensive

retaining aspects, elaborate water features , extensive out-of-

ground construction, specialty features, glass tiles etc.
