Day 1 Departing home

Geographical: East-Central Europe

Leaving home for a flight to Gdansk airport (GDN) – is the day „0”. The trip takes approximately 22 hours with 2

interchanges. Remember there is 6 hour difference.

We pick you up from the airport in Gdansk, next day (Day 1) and drive to the hotel.

The evening is free.

This is our acclimatization day (jet lag). We take a stroll to the old town after the breakfast in the hotel.

We spend the day experiencing the local agglomeration.

Late afternoon we will invite you for a three hour lecture: „How to climb Mount Everest” with Dr. Rob.

It is neither a course or training. This is a chillout session, stimulated with very niche information and English sense of humour. You will

learn about mountaineering passion, mountains, expeditions logistics and a human body in high altitude environment.

It takes 3 hours in comfortable sofas and maybe with a glass of wine…

Dr. Rob is a mountaineer, specialist in emergency medicine, obtained his Ph.D. in high altitude medicine. He is experienced

medical officer of Polish national mountaineering expeditions. Summiteer of three eight-thousand meter peaks: Everest 8848m

(from the North), Nanga Parbat 8125m (Pakistan) and 8167m Dhaulagiri (Nepal). Member of the first Polish team that

climbed Hiriz 5550m in the West Karakorum (Pakistan). Member of the International Society for Mountain Medicine. Organizer

of high altitude first aid courses.

Day 2 Welome to Gdansk !

After the breakfast we pick you up from the hotel and drive to the medical training point.

Day 3 Medical Sufficeincy

We stay there for 8 hours approximately.

We plan a lunch break after 4 hours. We serve good quality local food in a simple way (ecological food can be ordered). Light

food. After lunch we keep training.

The medical section is conducted strictly according to TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) guidelines and using the latest

applicable and required equipment.

It is a good overview for particular procedures that might be utilized in some circumstances. Those who travel or plan to travel

around the world might know what I am talking about. It is good to know how to act in case of emergency (different stressful

situations).

The curriculum covers some the following guidelines:

Depending on the weather conditions the module is run indoor or outdoor. We will simulate a real life conditions.

Once the workshop is over we drive you to the hotel. The evening is free.

Day 4 The History of the World War II

After the breakfast we pick you up from the hotel.

Right in the morning we visit the Museum of the World War. II The Museum is close distance to our hotel.

It takes approximately 3 hours to give you a good overlook of the conflict and its consequences.

Battle of Westerplatte - the first clash between Polish and German forces during the invasion of Poland and thus the first battle of the

European theatre of World War II.

Our second trip takes about an hour of driving each way. In order to see the place we need app. 3-4 hours.

Stutthof - the first Nazi concentration (death) camp set up outside German borders in World War II

As the day before we pick you up after the breakfast and we drive to the shooting range.

Day 5 Focus & Control Workshop

The module includes:

• Theoretical beefing

• Health & safety briefing

• Weapon systems: Glock pistol, M4 rifle, AK47 rifle

• Workspace, trigger control, breathing, administrative and speed reload, malfunctions,

introduction to fast shooting

• Rapid and intensive fire control on handgun and carbine

• Use of covers and shooting from weak hand

• Transitions from primary to secondary weapon system (use of carbine and pistol)

• Shooting positions: standing, kneeling, prone position

• Multiple targets engagement

We plan a lunch break. We serve you good quality local food in a simple way.

Once the workshop over we will drive you to the hotel. The evening is free for you to design.

Day 6 Medieval Times

After the breakfast in the morning we pick you up and drive for an hour to:

Malbork Castle - a 13th-century Teutonic castle and fortress. It is the largest castle in the world measured by land area and a UNESCO World

Heritage Site

It takes 3-4 hours for a good look and learning.

After that we drive back to our hotel. The rest of the day is free.

Day 7 Going home

This day we drive you to the Gdansk airport for your journey back home.

Again it takes you approximatelu 22 hours with two interchanges.

Local hotel, A bit away from the city. Rural area.

Transport:

We provide a samll bus to accomodate 6 people + ASW Team Member.

Food

Breakfast in the hotels are Intercontinental.

Lunches (x 3) consist of freash friuts and vegetables, bakery products, meat,, mineral water, soft drinks, tea, coffie. Two of them are served at

the workshop sites rather in simple way. The third one to be taken with us to Malbork.

Local insurance.

You will be accompanied nearly all the time by the member of ASW International Team

FAQWhat about food during the rest of the stay? 6 breakfast and 3 lunches may not be enough…

All evenings we will be in the city centre with a wide range of restaurants selection.

In addition during second day there will be a free time to go to selected restaurant. Again we will be in the city area.

Our team offer a restaurants lists with rankings.

Are the gun real? Is it safe?

The firearms we use for the workshops are real. Guns are not dangerous if used resonably.

How do I dress for the trip?

A durable outfit would be perfect. Along with a trekking shoes and some wateproof jacket.

You might need a warm cap in some period of the year.

Do I need to be fit?

You must be perfectly healthy both physically and mentally. No significant stamina required for our basic program.

Is it good for ladies?

Yes it is.
