DD Waivers

Wait List Changes

DBHDS has taken over management of the waiting lists for the Medicaid DD waivers (Building Independence, Family & Individual Supports, and Community Living waivers). The Department is sending out letters to individuals who are currently on the waiting list and are expecting individuals to follow up with the Department to verify that they wish to remain on the waiting list. If individuals do not respond to these notifications, they will be removed from the waiting list. Your case manager may contact you regarding this; however, we encourage you to be proactive and contact DBHDS to maintain your position on the waiting list.
