As we plunge into these next stages there will be a lot of laughs, a ton of enthusiasm and of course lots of quality work. Our mantra is “work hard. Play hard.” This means that while we know how to have a good time, we are also putting in the hours and the money. We walk our talk. Each of us has personally contributed twenty thousand dollars to HangLocal. And all of us plan on working at minimum wage to really get HangLocal off the ground. But we can’t do this by ourselves. In order to scale our hot- tamale-undiscovered-jiving-gravity-defying-smooth-coffee- sipping app… We need your help. So let’s get to some of the gnitty gritty. Why are we talking to you? Well, as you can tell we are passionate people with lots of interests and we are really excited about HangLocal. We have all dedicated a lot of time and expertise to HangLocal. And we’re certainly not stopping now. We want to maintain the same quality touch while accelerating HangLocal’s growth to other cities. We plan on expanding to 12 cities in the next few years . However we simply don’t have the funds to launch the necessary ad campaigns and to hire more goofy, hardworking, staff. That’s why we are asking you for $650,000 in exchange for 40% equity. This will provide us with our necessary cash basis, plus a 25% buffer. We understand that this is no small amount to ask for. However, as you can see here, our conservative projections show that we will generate sales of $38,000 the first year and then break even in year 4, after 183,000 downloads. No need for worry wrinkles like these! We will make a profit of $817,000 the fourth year, and wait for it, wait for it….
