2003-: At Princeton, I current ly deliver undergraduate survey lectures on

Britain 1688-1815 and 1815-1945. I have also taught junior seminars on

t ravel and t ravel writ ing in the 18t h cent ury, and on hist ory and life-

writings, 1600-1918. I currently offer a two semester graduate seminar

on Brit ish hist ory in a European, imperial and global context 1700 -1970,

and have co-t aught a graduat e seminar wit h Prof essor Daniel Rodgers on

Brit ish and American empire in comparison and cont ext .
