  • Pressure tests are used to provide reservoir characteristics, predicting the behavior

of the same and diagnosing the formation damage.

    Analysis objectives pressure are:

    -Site Assessment

    -Reservoir management

    -Reservoir description

For this work, from the following equation, along with boundary conditions,

describes the phase flow of a fluid through a porous medium, flowing in radially

    and horizontally.

Applying equation, radial flow behavior of a single well tests is analyzed and

decrease or increase of pressure are designed.

To represent the contribution of spending to qsf formation surface measured in

qsup spending. The following figure is used.

    where i=1- Imax:

  • 1 = (2

    )(+1+12+

    Two assumptions are made:

    1. The regime presented node 2 (site) at node 1 (well) is a pseudoestacionario regime

(the pressure change in these two nodes is constant over time).

  • 2. The cell 2 (reservoir) is optionally present formation damage.

Considering the solution of the diffusion equation for pseudoestacionario regime,

considering the additional pressure drop caused by the damage factor

In equation has been considered, by convention, spending that occurs is negative

(-) and injected spending is positive (+). Considering the analysis between node 1

(well) and node 2 (first cell of the site), we have:
