ThewinnersoftheNorthAmericanOfficeProductsAwards(NAOPA)wereannouncedattheSPRichards(SPR)ABCshowinWashington,DC,on21June2016.
Theawardswerelaunchedin2010byOfficeProductsInternational(OPI)inassociationwithSPR.Nowintheirseventhyear,theseawardssettheindustrystandardandaimtofindthebestbusinessproductsinNorthAmerica.TheywerejudgedbyapanelofleadingresellersandthewinnerswereannouncedduringapackedGeneralSessionatSPR’sABC.
FellowesanditsAeraMaxProAMIIIwontheawardforProductInnovationoftheYear.
WHY?
AbsenceatworkbecauseofsicknesscoststheUSeconomyhalfaTRILLIONdollarseveryyearandmuchofthatiscausedbyunhygienicworkplaces.Whilemuchemphasishasbeenplacedonsurfacecleaning,littlehasbeentodonetackletheproblemofillnesscausedbyairbornecontaminants.Atleastuntilnow.TheAeraMaxProisanessentialhealthaswellasabudgetaryinnovationforcompanies.”

Whatwasthecriteria?InnovationoftheYearNothingdeterminesthesuccessofanyindustrymorethaninnovation.Itisthelifebloodofoursectorandwithoutitwebecomecommoditized.Theseawardsseektodiscoverthetrulyinnovativeproductsandensuretheyreceivetherecognitiontheydeserve.“Innovations”canincludeproducts,technologysolutions,significantenhancementsorsupplychaininnovations.

• Potentialtogeneraterevenue• Excellentsupportingmarketingmaterialandcontent,especiallyvideo.
