JOSEPH KABILA MUST STEP DOWN WITHOUT ANY CONDITIONS. WASHINGTON MEGA-MARCH, JANUARY 21, 2012For Immediate Release and large Distribution: Join us for a Mega-march in Washington from Metro Union Station the Capitol Hill CNN Television The White House On November 28, 2011 the Congolese people elected Etienne Tshisekedi as their new President to lead the country toward peace restoration, corruption annihilation, rule of law implementation, social and economic recovery and much needed development program implementation. In the past, the United States did strongly support the people of the Phillipines in 1986 when the then President Marcos lost the election to his incumbent Corazone Acquino but decided to stay in power against his peoples will. And as of this day, the United States is daily expressing Etienne Tshisekedi Wa Mulumba, unequivocally its support for the uprising of the Syrian people against the The president elect Assads dictatorial regime. But as of this same day its unfortunate and incomprehensible to witness that the United States government does not give a clear and strong support to the Congolese peoples electoral victory over the incumbent dictatorial and repressive regime of Joseph Kabila. We, the Congolese Americans and residents of the United States of America are appealing to the United States Government and Congress to recognize the Congolese peoples choice and President Elect Etienne Tshisekedi wa Mulumba as the sole and legitimate President of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Its a fact that all voting centers fairly monitored by national and international election observers, such as the Congolese Catholic Church, the Carter Foundation Center, the European Union and many NGO, confirmed Mr. Tshisekedi as the winner of these elections. Therefore Joseph Kabila, aka Hypolite Kanambe, MUST STEP DOWN without any conditions. He clearly masterminded the use of prefilled voting ballots (printed in South Africa) and has also mismanaged the country, failed to really deliver on his promises to the Congolese people for social and economic well-being. Wide spread election fraud in his favor and wide spread pre-election and post-election police and army violence unleashed on the unarmed opposition supporters are sound reasons to lawfully disqualify him. His fraudulent system has international connection with extension to the USA. Responsibility needs to be established and punished. The Congolese people have made their choice and it should be the only alternative for him to step down and prevent any further bloodshed in DRC. All Congolese have the duty to oppose any individual or group of individuals who seize power by force or who exercise it in violation of the provisions of this Constitution. Any attempt to overthrow the constitutional regime constitutes an offense against the nation and the State, an offense which is not subject to the statute of limitations. It is punished in accordance with the law. Article 64, DRC constitution. We have lost six to nine millions of our brothers and sisters in the last 12 to 13 years through a genocide perpetrated by Joseph Kabila and ignored by the rest of the world. To maim, torture and murder unarmed civilians during this genocide , before and after the November 28, 2011 elections, Mr. Kabila has used military equipment and knowhow provided by the United States. He very clearly has committed war crimes. He thus deserves to be sent to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in La Hague, Netherlands and not to be rewarded with a fraudulent election victory. His responsibility was recognized in the United Nations Mapping Report of October 1, 2010 in New York. Life is not only about the Coltan and our natural resources looting and illegal exploitation. We are Aware of the Eastern Congo Initiative goal to split the Democratic Republic of Congo and submit it to Rwandans (FDLR, CNDP) and Ugandans (LRA) controls. We are calling to our fellow Americans to STOP the project of balkanization of Congo. Maintaining disorder and impunity in Congo by using US-taxpayer money is an ineffective way of providing humanitarian assistance program claiming gender base violence while encouraging regional warlords to commit crimes against humanity in Congo require accountability to be extended to the United States.
