    IMCRadio.net and DHD (German Radio Broadcasting Service) strike partnership.Media production and radio distribution go hand-in-hand

    (Hamburg -06/01/2012) - The promotion initiative IMC - India meets Classic

    (www.imcradio.net) agreed with DHD - Deutscher Hrfunk Dienst (German

    Radio Broadcasting Service) for collaborating in the field of media production

    + distribution media (content syndication), shortly before the start of it's 7th

    year of production (06/26/2012). The cooperation will focus on radio

    production and media sales begins on 1st of June 2012 and shall be

    developed across national borders of Germany.

    Having produced various radio formats in Hamburg over last 7 years in

    terms of Indian (music) culture and presenting an all years radio programme

    in the German-speaking countries (Austria, Germany and Switzerland) thecooperation has been agreed by the founder and owner ElJay Arem of the

    promotion initiative IMC - India meets Classic and Artur Dellai, the CEO of

    DHD - Deutscher Hrfunk Dienst (German Radio Broadcasting Service).

    The promotion initiative IMC - India meets Classic was founded in January

    2005 and proposed this collaboration to the DHD for creating new

    synergies... for the benefit of radio listeners in the German-speaking

    countries and to increase the attractiveness of the radio program providers

    the DHD worked together for more than two decades. The foundation of the

    DHD is going back to the year 1990/1991, here Artur Dellai had implemented

    the first live broadcasts for radio transmission in their 1st own outside

    broadcast vehicle. Till today more than 2,800 productions

    were conducted. The DHD emerged in 2004 from Dellai

    Audio Technology (DAT) corporation. The new

    cooperation between the promotion initiative IMC - India

    meets Classic and DHD was initiated by ElJay Arem: "The

    DHD is owner-managed. This allows us to cater to fast

    decision-makings and to adapt to the high dynamics in the Asian region,

    particularly in India. The DHD is a unique concept of fairly and independently

    event reporting, also in the sense of responsibly journalism."

    The promotion initiative IMC - India meets Classic is member of the German

    Specialised Journalists Association (DFJV Deutscher

    Fachjournalistenverband) by its founder ElJay Arem. Already in 2008 he

    signed the Tutzing Ethics Appeal to blaze a trail for credible and qualitativelyradio broadcasting ("Fair Radio").

    Relevance of the media - International production and national distribution.

    With a growing world population, the highest population density in Asia

    (India's population (> 17%) is second behind China) the medias and

    international media formats are gaining in importance in the globalisation.Content and formats are in demand that deal with social issues, health,

    environmental, cultural and educational issues.

    Therefore, the promotion initiative IMC - India meets Classic, its productions

    for the German market will be internationalised (see format development).

    More important it is that the national media distribution is in competent hands.

    The DHD will play an important function to cover the whole radio market of

    Germany, thus becoming more able to concentrate on journalistic content.

    For the DHD, the collaboration with the promotion initiative IMC - India meets

    Classic opens doors in the Asian market. Artur Dellai,

    CEO of DHD: "Some of our customers are already

    represented in India. We are very excited about this

    partnership with promotion initiative IMC - India meets

    Classic hereby we can give media supports to our

    customers also in the Asian market. This market entry of

    the DHD can be succeeded only if we have a competent partner. ElJay Arem

    Format development ...

    The promotion initiative IMC - India meets Classic will be strengthened with

    the DHD at her side to fulfil its educational/social mandate. So far, the radio

    shows about Indian music culture (Indian classical, Indian electronic music)explicitly are focused on the transfer of knowledge from India to Europe for

    cultural themes (music history, anthropology and ethnomusicology,

    pedagogy, music therapy). This will be further ensured because culture is and

    remains the key to mutual understanding between nations.

    Anyone who deals daily with India, is always confronted with the South Asian

    sub-continent and its development towards the world's leading economic

    power. 1.2 billion Indians and a young population, which represents 20% of

    children worldwide are already on the passing lane to China. In terms of eco-

    textiles India is the world leader, as well as a producer of wind turbines.

    Such economic changes have an impact on the cultural developments in

    India, in addition to the educational sector.

    India is dealing with its high rate of development in modern times already withsocial challenges, as we know it from Western post-industrialized countries.

    Diseases such as diabetes, a rising divorce rate, the disintegration of the

    extended family structure, or the growing number of mental disorders in

    India's new, affluent middle class are warning signs of slippage, which we

    know in Germany for several decades.

    Therefore, the promotion initiative IMC - India meets Classic devote greater

    attention to social issues that are relevant both for Germany and India.

    Indo-German Relationship: Days of India in Germany

    The peaceful relations between Germany and India have a long tradition.

    After 65 years of diplomacy, since India's independence in 1947, a new era

    was initiated in Hamburg with the visit of Anand Sharma, Indian Minister of

    Economy, Industry and Textiles. Under the slogan "Connecting Capabilities,

    Minds, Ideas and Culture" the "Days of India in Germany 2012-2013" were

    inaugurated on 11th May 2012. Hereby the Indo-German relations

    experience a viable, future-oriented perspective.

    This clean-cut policy framework is an essential basis for the entrepreneurial

    activities to arise from the cooperation between the promotion initiative IMC -

    India meets Classic and DHD Deutscher Hrfunk Dienst (German Radio

    Broadcasting Service).

    Planning 2012-2013 ...

    ElJay Arem will stay on the current schedule from September 2012 in India

    and represent the DHD as (South) Asia correspondent on the spot ... and will

    report on events of major importance to Germany.

    The first six months (Sept. 2012 Febr. 2013) are being considered as a test

    phase in order to explore the local market situation and potentials.

    DHD - German radio service in the short profile

    The DHD had emerged in 2004 from Dellai Audio Technology (DAT). DATwas established in 1990/1991 by the entrepreneur couple Angela and Artur

    Dellai. The DHD Deutscher Hrfunk Dienst (German Radio BroadcastingService) is the partner of radio stations in German-speaking countries forover twenty years.

    Initially and primarily technical services (e.g. outside broadcast vans,broadcasting techniques) were the focus. Today a network of DHD reportersthrough Germany produce program pieces (audio reportages) cost free forradio stations. Uniquely is the funding for the media productions beingfinanced by respective event organizers (e.g. trade fairs).

    The DHD reserves in its terms the free selection of topics and implementationto ensure an independent, journalistic proper reporting.

    Under these conditions, the DHD is pleased to count nationwide both publicand private radio stations as satisfied customers.

    IMC - India meets Classic in brief: Enjoy listening to good music!

    In 2005 (on 28th November) the promotion initiative IMC - India meetsClassic went onair for a "radio special" first time. There was no idea aboutthat 7.5 years later the leap to India might be possible with a total of 97 topicsand 120 hours of production time (7,170 minutes airtime).

    However, the development of IMCRadio.Net as a media producer for atraining and community radio at a art and media campus (HMS - HamburgMedia School / Tide 96.0 (Radio + TV)) near the Outer Alster lake in theHanseatic City Hamburg to an independent producer is of no coincidence.

    Slots (at five radio stations) in Austria, Switzerland and the two largest citiesin Germany (Berlin, Hamburg) since 2011 are the result of constantprofessionalization and a progressive concept of social nature. Traditionalvalues of Indian culture haven't been thrown overboard in times of fast paceand superficiality.

    ElJay Arem, the founder of the promotion initiative IMC - India meets Classicis even 25% of Polish origin, and sees himself as a global citizen. He wasborn in Bavaria, grew up in Swabia, and was seven years in a mixed

    marriage to a Peruvian. In the 90 years he worked in shipping, internationalsport sponsorship (sailboat racing) and for consulting and strategicmarketing. The maternal grandfather was born in Berlin, whose parents camefrom South-West Poland. He worked as a makeup artist at the States Operahouse Berlin and as a violinist in the opera orchestra.
