The biggest event of the season in Les Menuires. This will be a weekend of indoor and outdoor activities all focussed on technology and gaming. The first time an event like this has been held in a mountain environment.

Bars will have evenings dedicated to video games; outdoors a game based on ‘Game of Thrones’ will bring lasers and photo-tech together. The cinema and event spaces in Les Menuires will be turned in to gaming centres bringing together the professionals in the industry with skiers and riders of the future.

Indoors: Retro- Gaming: old video games that are back in

fashion will be on site for playing. Experience Games space: see and play all the

latest generation video games and consoles. A simulation space: an immersive experience

and augmented reality. IoT (Internet of things): Meetings between

professionals and the public in the form of conferences, incentives and exchanges.

This is an exciting new project for Les Menuires. The older central buildings of Les Menuires are the focus of an eight year project to improve the aesthetics of this part of the village.Many of these ‘block’ - style buildings, which were constructed in the 1960s, will be lit up to make them look more individual and more impressive under the special effects of lighting. Les Menuires is working with renown designer Laurent Fachard, who has worked on the impressive December lighting up of Lyon. All season long there will be celebration nights where Les Menuires will change the colour and atmosphere of the village according to the animations and events taking place.

The opening night of the incredible laser show will be on 9th December 2017, the opening day of the 2017-18 winter season.

Boxing Day and Valentine’s Day Pop-Up on-slope animations, two of eight dates throughout the season. Secret surprises popping up during each day around the slopes - look out for the online countdown to the next secret surprise - to bring even more fun in to the skiers’ day!
