2003/2004 In 2003-2004 teaching staff of UCC once again showed their commitment to teaching and student learning in a wide variety of ways. Seven staff members received the President's Award for Excellence in Teaching, after preparing and submitting reflective portfolios of their teaching, which included a video of their teaching and student evaluations. The portfolios had to satisfy a range of criteria, and in particular staff were required to demonstrate how their work is contributing to improved student learning. At the ceremony, a further eighteen staff were congratulated on winning awards for research into innovative forms of teaching and learning. Awards for Excellence in Teaching
