PRESIDENT’S COUNCIL

Dear Council Member,It is my honor and pleasure to introduce myself to the

council as Ducks Unlimited’s 45th president. I will give you a bit more information about myself in coming issues of this magazine, but for now I will get to the heart of the matter.

As I write this, our organization is not waiting for this pandemic to define us. We are taking action to ensure that we continue to deliver on the mission we all believe in. I do not want to downplay the severity of what is happening world-wide, and hopefully by the time you read this our country will be on its way back to normal. In the meantime, we will continue to create new funding programs, contain costs, and, most important, deliver conservation!

I would like to make an appeal to all council members: Do not wait! The sacrifices being made by DU volunteers and staff alike are worthy of your support. Consider moving up your

giving this year, or better yet, increase it. You believe in your heart what this organization stands for, and you know what we can deliver. During difficult times we have always shown our mettle. It is that time again. Thank you for your consider-ation, and please do not hesitate to contact me if I can help you to help the ducks.
