So, I can only repeat the rumor that Mr. Keating’s presentation and Q&A session were very good. I owe some thanks to the other NOMADS officers for helping out. Next week we are very happy to host His Excellency, Consul General of Norway, Jostein Mykletun. I think it should be a fascinating meeting. His Excellency is exceptionally scientifically-minded, having served on numerous boards and councils having to do with the North Sea Offshore resources, besides serving in numerous posts in the Norwegian government. His presentation takes place next week, Tuesday the 9 th , same time, same place. The next meeting will be in August when we award the scholarships and host the Dutch offshore drilling company, Huisman Global Services, recently featured in World Oil. And in the fall, we have the Golf Tournament to look forward to on October 23rd. Be sure to put it all in your calendars. Till then, Happy Father’s Day, Happy 4 th of July. Keep cool and dry. It is now June, and that evidently means monsoon season has arrived. It is also time for scholarship applications to start pouring in. But it seems we have shallow pool so far this year. So, if you have thought to yourself, “I love my boy, but he is not exactly a scholar. In fact, he reminds me of Huck Finn minus Huck’s respect for authority and formal schooling. No chance he’ll win a scholarship or attend that lauded tractor-repair technical school up at College Station.” But I’m here to tell you, think again. He just might! Deadlines are June 30 th . Tell Junior to get his act together, get his application in pronto and we’ll do our part to have him wearing maroon and hooting in no time. We had a well-attended meeting last month when we hosted Kayden’s Brad Keating. As some of you know, I was feeling a little under the weather before the meeting. In fact, when I left the podium, I walked right
