How do I get involved?To get involved, you can either volunteer your time as you can throughout the year at various events or become a full member of the group and attend meetings and vote on general business matters of the group.
How do I join?Simply, fill out the form on this brochure, enclose your membership fee or donation and mail it to the address listed.
If I make a donation what happens to it?100% of all donations to the Firelands Band Boosters go directly to the band.
Who are the Firelands Band Boosters?The Firelands Band Boosters are a group of parents, friends and alumni whose mission it is to assist the growth and progress of the overall Instrumental Music Department through economic and moral support at Firelands Schools.

What do the Firelands Band Boosters do?Boosters are here to assist with activities at the request of the Band Director and to aid and support the following:• Freshmen/June Band Camp • August Band Camp• Friday Night Football Season • Homecoming Community Pep Rally • Woollybear Parade • Parade of Bands • Band on the Run 5K and Fun Run • Cow Pie Bingo • One More Time Concert • Holiday Craft Bazaar• Basketball Concessions • Holiday Ornament Party• Pancake Breakfast • Fine Arts Festival • Band Banquet • Memorial Day Parades
What’s in it for you?Firelands has been voted a Best Community for Music Education for the past three years. The instrumental music program is stronger than it has ever been. By becoming a Firelands Band Booster member and volunteering your time, you are helping to ensure the success of this outstanding program. Not only will you meet other parents, family members and alumni, you’ll have opportunities to participate behind the scenes by helping with uniform fittings, game day preparations, chaperoning events, transporting equipment, cooking, cleaning and whatever else needed to help the MFMB take the field each week and support the students throughout the year.

Who benefits from the Firelands Band boosters?Any band student in grades 5-12, flag line members and banner carriers benefit from the boosters club. Past support has included financial support to:• Refurbish music stands and instruments• Purchase new instruments• Fund Concert band events• Scholarships• Travel expenses• Food expensesJust to name a few!
