A 1.25 mile walk in Downtown Oakland Park with your favorite pet!When: Sunday, February 18, 2018 (prior to Doggy Fun Fest)Where: Jaco Pastorius Park, 4100 N. Dixie Hwy., Oakland Park(For on-site registration information check website www.doggyfunfest.com for exact location)Times: On-site registration begins at 9:30 AMWalk Begins at 10:00 AM and proceeds south on Main Street, NE 12th Ave., before returning to Jaco Park.To Join: Please set up your fundraising page atwww.firstgiving.com/Struttin4Strays/2nd-annual-struttin-for-strays

No pre-registration required to walk, however, Struttin’ for Strays T-shirts are for those who pre-registerwith $50.00 or more in fundraising - of course, we are hoping that you raise more to assist Rotary’s support of our local rescues, pet shelters and Rotary Community projects. All walkers must stop by theregistration booth when you arrive to fill out a simple event form.

IMPORTANT DATES AND INFORMATION:• Pre-registration deadline: February 2, 2018.• Drop off location for cash and checks: Check website www.doggyfunfest.com for updates on where and when.

This is a great opportunity for pet organizations, businesses and community groups to form a team,a “Dog Pack” to raise funds for these worthy causes. Consider challenging other community groupsto see who is the BIG DOG!!

Struttin’ for Strays is part of Doggy Fun Fest, a Rotary event hosted by Oakland Park/Wilton ManorsRotary Club a 501c3 organization, and is held annually to raise needed funds to support local rescues,pet shelters and Rotary Community projects. The event features music, pet adoptions, the pet walk, Struttin’ for Strays, dog agility zone, pet “cool zone”, pet fashion show, Dachshund races and much more.

The Club also offers advertising opportunities for local business via our Event Booklet that will bedistributed weeks prior to the event to local businesses and pet groups.
