    STRUCTUREThe structure of the present perfect is:

    Subject + Auxiliary verb + Main verb + complement

    (have-has) (Past participle)

    Examples:

    TIME EXPRESSIONS FOR PRESENT PERFECT FOR - SINCEUsed as prepositions in sentences in present perfect

    tense expressing that an action still goes on.

    FOR: A period of timeE.g.: I have lived in Bogota for 10 years

    SINCE: The moment when the action startedE.g.: have lived in Bogot since 2001

    Already means that something happened earlierthan we expected. It usually goes after have or hasand before the main verb.

    Eg : We'vealready had our breakfast Yet means that something that we expected has

    happened or hasn't happened. We usually put it atthe end of a sentence. It is used in interrogative

    and negative sentences, Eg: Has the post arrivedyet? She hasnt do her homeworkyet
