Downtown Development

400 Central • Purchased by New York Developer, Red Apple Group for $16.5M in April 2017 •The two-acre 400-block lot, which is currently vacant, is expected to house a 41-story residential building, office, hotel, retail or other mixed-used space. It would be among the tallest skyscrapers in the area. •Construction is expected to begin in about one year

• At 386 feet, the Priatek Plaza is Pinellas County’s tallest office building • The tower is 76 percent leased with several large blocks of contiguous space, the largest of which is 30,000 sq. ft. • Purchased by Third Lake Capital for $65.75M in June 2017 • Third Lake has retained Cushman & Wakefield of Florida Inc. to lease and manage the tower. • Space is listed between $28 and $32 per square foot

Innovation District Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital’s New State-of-the-Art Simulation Center •Enables training in a realistic clinical environment on high-risk or emergency situations and promotes the open exchange of knowledge and findings •Located in the heart of the Innovation District

•Approximately 225,000 square feet including seven floors, 250-seat auditorium, simulation lab and flexible spaces.

•Construction set to be complete in 2018

•Economic Impact: Estimated 300 construction jobs, 30 new highly skilled jobs, and 200 faculty, educators, researchers, physicians, nurses & support staff will be housed in the new building
