6 December, Northbridge Piazza, noon – 4.00pm The City’s holiday festival puts a Christmas spin on the Piazza’s monthly kids’ activity day, with themed all-ages

entertainment including face painting, balloon artistry, roving characters and two family movies. Dress up for an afternoon of festive fun, complete with carollers and a visit from Santa.

Take home a souvenir from the Christmas photo booth or get involved in making your own Christmas stocking. Also the classic film, Muppet Christmas Carol (1992, PG) is on

the Piazza SuperScreen at noon, and The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993, PG) screens at 2.30pm.

CHRISTMAS NATIVITY21 – 23 December, Forrest Place, 6.30pm

Share in this enchanting event with the whole family and see the traditional story of Christmas told like never before. Over

100 performers from around the State star in a production with live animals, Christmas carols, remarkable new costumes, and an all new stage design. PERTH CITY CHRISTMAS DECORATIONSUntil 6 January

Marvel at the City’s magical lights and decorations including a new Christmas tree – the biggest in Perth (13m high, weighing

1.8 tonnes) with new LED season’s greetings ribbon and a traditional Council House nativity scene. Selected city streets

and parks will have festive lights and decorations too including James, Lake and William Streets in Northbridge, Victoria and Stirling Gardens, Hay and Murray Street Malls, and William

and King Street in the CBD.

CHRISTMAS PROJECTIONS ON THE GPO3 – 20 December (7.30pm), 21 – 23 December (8.30pm

after Christmas Nativity), Forrest PlaceNew animated projections will colour the facade of our

landmark GPO each night after sunset. Electric Canvas’ award-winning large scale illuminations, custom designed to enhance the heritage building’s features, will depict ‘Queenie

the Quokka’ in Christmas scenes from around the world.

CITY CHRISTMAS POPUP MARKET 20151 – 3 December, QV1 Building Foyer, 11.00am – 2.00pmPerth’s premier quarterly market for original and handcrafted wares is bringing together more than 50 of Perth’s most talented artisans and designers for a Christmas Popup Market.
