How do you take a blood pressure

reading? Inflate the cuff with brisk

squeezes of the bulb. You shouldn't need to go over 150.

You will be listening for a slight "blrrpp" or a something that sounds like "prrpshh." The first time you hear this sound, note what the reading was on the pressure gage. This value represents the systolic blood pressure

The sounds should continue and become louder in intensity. Note the pressure reading when you hear the sound for the last time. This value represents the diastolic blood pressure.

Afterwards, open the air valve completely to release any remaining pressure.

Mature red blood cells are called The shape of a red blood cell is The function of red blood cells is Red blood cells with high oxygen concentrations are bright red because of A mature red blood cell can not reproduce because it has no White blood cells are also called The most numerous white blood cells are The least abundant of the white blood cells are The largest of the white blood cells are The white blood cell that has relatively large, round nuclei with thin rims of

cytoplasm is called In red bone marrow, platelets develop from Upon injury platelets adhere to this found in connective tissue

Platelets release this in the presence of a damaged blood vessel, which causes smooth muscle contraction
