Some Lessons Learned• Engage Business Owners at the beginning of the project
(Scope definition)• Identify KEY IMPACT Areas/Deliverables early• Engage your best people throughout the project• Make sure you have the budget to obtain adequate resources• Remain somewhat flexible during the project life• Key - collaboration between IT and business is critical• Develop an effective communication process/mechanism
to address issues (Issue resolutions)• Allot adequate time for End-to-End Testing• Allot adequate time for testing, reconciliation, validation

Some Lessons Learned
Celebrate when you’re done!
• Mimic a full monthend close process - multiple times - during testing.
• Use the business end users for Testing- UAT, CRP, etc.
• Don’t disregard the importance of developing strong security access profiles and responsibilities
• Do your Research! Make Decisions! And, move on!
