APPLICATION METHODS

The final compound is spread onto the interested area using an applicator, and is left to work for 30-45 minutes. The layer of product will solidify during this stage, until it becomes a film. The patient does not need any particular attention as in addition to the biodynamic and regenerative effects, THALEUM™ BIO- TECHNOLOGY carries out a protective and anti-inflammatory action (stage 2).

Finally, the film must be removed mechanically to complete the operation (stage 3).

When planning a Treatment Protocol, it is necessary to bear in mind that, except for particular cases in which the use of se- veral ACTIVE ELEMENTS may not be advised, the THALEUM™ System always foresees the use of THREE different components. one or two vials of ACTIVE, differing according to the chosen treatment, the THALEUM™ BIOTECHNOLOGY and a specific SYSTEMIC ELEMENT.

In all cases, the THALEUM™ system is open and can be personalised.The aesthetic medicine operator’s experience and sensitivity will define the most suitable protocol for each case, the number of treatments to be carried out and their frequency, always observing the main guidelines found in this document.

ANTIAGING Procedure

The Protocol is recommended for achieving an anti-aging ac- tion on a skin that is still relatively young, but which begins to show the first signs of photo-ageing.

The protocol foresees the mixing of a vial of G-ACTIVE and a vial of M-ACTIVE into the THALEUM ™ BIOTECHNOLOGY, to which a vial of THALEUM ™ SYSTEMIC RG is then added. A homogeneous compound is achieved in a few moments, which must then be distributed onto the face and left to work for 45 minutes.At the end of treatment, the film that has formed as the compound has hardened will be removed mechanically.

Characteristics The two ACTIVE components exalt the restructuring princi-

Procedure This is the treatment recommended for the more sensitive

and intolerant types of skin.

In this case, BIOTECHNOLOGY will be mixed with M-AC- TIVE, G-ACTIVE and SYSTEMIC SN. An intense soothing and anti-inflammatory action will be achieved, useful for treatment on skins with excessive reactivity.

Notes For the first treatment, we recommend that only half a vial

of M-ACTIVE and half a vial of G-ACTIVE issued, to test the patient’s real skin sensitivity.

For later treatments, the operator can then decide to conti- nue using the same amount of ACTIVE or to gradually increase the amount to a whole vial, depending on the reaction obtained.

Notes In the case of acne that is especially active on inflamed skin,

Procedure The protocol is recommended for treatment of hyperpigmen-

Notes Solving a hyperpigmentation problem may require a higher

number of treatments compared to the previous types of treat- ment:At least 8 on a twice-weekly basis.

Characteristics The activating part which thins the corneocyte layer is again

carried out by two ACTIVES, S and P, for this common problem, while dermal-aesthetic integration is provided by the SYSTE- MIC HP.
