Calibration of the recorder system must be done annually in the presence of an authorized PPECB representative.

All loading points must comply with the requirements contained within the PPECB Work Instructions and the importing countries protocols.

REQUIREMENTS FOR COLD STORES

For Bilateral countries all fruit must be pre-cooled for a minimum of 72 hours continuous but for the USA the fruit must be on target temperature for the last 24 hours.

USA, JAPAN, S/KOREA, CHINA and ISRAEL

For Permit countries all fruit must be pre-cooled to target temperature.

INDIA, INDONESIA, IRAN, TAIWAN, SRI LANKA, BANGLADESH, REUNION, ZAMBIA and MADAGASCAR

A tabular temperature printout of at least the last 24 hours must be provided to the PPECB assessor for approval.

DOCUMENTATION

The temperature downloads must be delivered to the port office by the Shipping Line at least 6 working day hours before ETD.

The exporter and or agent must collect and sign for their documents at the relevant PPECB port office.

All documents will be kept for a minimum of five years.

UNPACK - REPACK

Containers will under no circumstances be open unlessit is an unit- or probe failure.

New Q31 form must be filled in with new details. Note inthe “Remarks” that it is an unpack repack.

PPECB must be present at all times with an unpack -repack.

Shipping Line must arrange 24 hour in advance withPPECB for an unpack - repack.
