My magazine layout has been used from magazines such as empire where the characters will be stood so they look empowering. Sort of standing over people and looking down on them. This is to give the image effect, to make it stand out more than other magazines that would be competing.

I tried challenging myself by adding something that no one else would have, I combined two upcoming events in an image using Photoshop and added them to my magazine so that it gave it more originality compared to others.

Things such as add-ons and extras that are in the magazine were also displayed in very empire type of way using shapes and a variation of colours to make them stand out more than the rest.

I developed my uses and layout of headings through magazines such as ‘Total Film’ to be specific it was a Sherlock Holmes issue from around 2011. I then developed this and made it much simpler o fit in with the style of my film, which was very social realist. I also flipped the way it was viewed by making the header and name of the film at the top instead of the bottom.

The layout of my poster making it so that each side is as though it is owned by one of the characters is an idea that I thought of myself, by doing this it helps to stand out on its own and look different from the rest. It gives it a type of structured layout that works very well with the images chosen.

The layout of images with use of colour was a combination of things I seen on a Django poster and a Bullet Boy. I then developed this into my own unique style. From the django poster I got the idea of combining a black and white image with a coloured and white background to make the image look as though it is further into the foreground.

With Bullet Body I developed the idea of having a profile view of the head and made it so that the two profile heads were together almost making them one, but not actually joining them together so they were one person, getting the idea across that people still think for themselves.

The first noticeable thing used on my trailer would be the opening credits. I have used an official preview sign that is on the start of my trailer. This was done to add a real aspect to my work so that it looks slightly more professional than something that would have just my production logo on.

Things such as my production logo were added to give it a realist feel, this was changed to make the logo on a stand alone page so that it was more recognizable than anything else.

USEHere I 'am showing that I have used an over theshoulder shot, to add more of a cinematic feel.It helps to give each scene more depth. This technique is used in many films to add the effect. It is also mainly used when two peopleAre having a discussion. This is usually followedby an establishing shot which helps to put theaudience in their place.

DEVELOPI developed my sound effects to give a more realistic feel, the sound effects that were added, are things that we found very hard to imitate in real life. For example we added the sound effects of dogs barking to make more realistic and on edge.

We also developed how the transitions work to make them look very smooth, it fades into the transition instead of cutting to it.

CHALLENGEI challenged the fact that the age of my characters were much younger than any of the other films out at the moment. By doing this it makes the film a little bit more edgy and realistic. We also challenged the fact that we were filming in Greater Manchester, because most films will stereotypically be filmed in London.
