ANDALUSIA

Page 7: Presentation (Romania)

•Andalusia is the largest of Spain's 17 autonomous regions and it's the one which evokes the most powerful images of our country. We are famous for flamenco, fiestas, bullfighting and passion

•The territory is divided into eight provinces: Huelva, Seville, Cádiz, Córdoba, Málaga, Jaén, Granada and Almería. Its capital and largest city is Seville.

The city has a population of 149,410 inhabitants. The city has been inhabited since 3000 BC. The town is home to Recreativo de Huelva, the oldest football club in Spain.

Among the attractions to visit in this province are the Columbus sites. La Rábida is where Columbus asked the Franciscan brothers for help before setting sail for America.

We are very famous for our ham, prawns and beaches.
