Presentation On Nepal-Community School Support Project

Background: Nepal is a largely mountainous, predominantly agricultural country with around US$400 per capital income. The literacy rate of Nepal is 65.9%. Earthquake occurred on 25th April 2015, destroyed around 7553 schools creating the problem in whole education system of Nepal. Till date only about 47.83 % school were reconstructed & 22.75% under construction .Those schools constructed also not able to smoothly run the classroom due to lack of schooling materials like desks & benches, computer lab , Library, Science lab etc.

Introduction of Sindhuli District (Project Site) •Sindhuli is one of most affected district by NepalEarthquake2015. •More than 400 schools were destroyed in this district as per Nepal Government . • More than 208 schools needed desks & benches, library, computer lab, Science lab as per District Education Office-Sindhuli.

Project Name: Nepal - Community School Support Project Goal: The goal of the project is to enhance the quality of education at community schools of Sindhuli District of Nepal Objectives: The objectives of this project are: 1.To support desk & benches 2. To setup computer Lab embedded with multimedia 3.Library /Science Lab Setup Beneficiaries:1100 student directly and community as a whole
