About the CSPCSR

Mission of the Centre

We endeavour to pursue collaborative multidisciplinary

research on state of the art technologies and algorithms to support

the design, simulation and development of contemporary radar and

communication systems

Research Goals of the Centre

1. To apply the contemporary techniques for the design and development ofmicrowave circuitry and RF front end modules to meet the performancerequirements of radar and communication system

2. To perform research on design and optimization studies to arrive at geometricconfiguration of appropriate class of antennas to meet the specific requirementsof given radar and communication system applications

3. To pursue research to improvise and optimize the performance of adaptivealgorithms for baseband signal processing of communication systems

4. To formulate and recommend solutions for the Human Machine Interface (HMI)for speech and gesture recognition in multimedia environment

5. To investigate the optimality and reconfigurability of processors for therealization of high performance ASICs in communication system modules

6. To design and develop embedded processors and FPGA based prototypehardware for implementation of communication subsystems

7. To perform simulation studies and develop communication and network protocolsfor distributed applications to meet the performance requirements of terrestrialand underwater communication system

8. To develop novel algorithms and methods to enhance the efficiency and securityof the existing communication network protocols

9. To adapt system engineering approach for adopting the strategic globaltechnological initiatives towards communication system development fromconceptualization to the system design

10.To formulate and recommend solutions to the challenges of multidisciplinaryapproach in the design and integration of subsystems of contemporary radar andcommunication systems
