MPM was considered a key downstream business for Astra to ensure efficient and prompt distribution of Honda motorcycles. In addition to motorcycle distribution business in East Java, a few other motorcycle parts businesses were also added to MPM.Today MPM has progressed to become a corporation with 7 primary operating companies, projecting 2012 revenue of US$1.1 billion, and NPAT of US$44 million.
