Status of GAIMS

• A unique PPP initiative between GoG and GAIMS with a twinobjective of a setting up a medical college in Kutch and upgradingthe health-care facilities at District General Hospital in Bhuj.

• Revamped infrastructure and set up new OPD area. Wards,Emergency other modernized areas.

• Equipped with most sophisticated diagnostic equipment like- 16Slice CT Scan, 1.5 testla MRI Machine, Mammography etc.

Status of GAIMS

• Set up unit of Dialysis and Thalassemia treatment.

• Blood component separation unit set up, being the first of its kind in the entire district

• GAIMS has spent about Rs. 100 Crores as CAPEX in setting up medicalcollege, revamping hospital infrastructure, health-care equipments etc.

• Engaged more and more specialists doctors for treatment of patients.

• Engaged professional agencies for skilled manpower for house keeping, patient care assistance, security, horticulture etc.
