• 1981: Jobs joins the Macintosh project. Mike Markkula becomes president of Apple Computer Inc.
• 1983: Apple becomes the fastest growing company in history. John Sculley becomes president and Chief Executive Officer of Apple Computer, Inc.
• Summer 1985: Sculley as new head of Apple
Computer Inc. has to lay off 1,200 employees.
• March 14th, 1994: Apple releases its first Power

Interesting Information about Apple Computers, Inc.
Logo:
The first Apple logo was designed by Ron Wayne.
It showed Sir Isaac Newton sitting beneath the famous Apple tree thinking about gravity.
The new logo had a simple shape of an Apple, with the colors of the rainbow in the wrong order.
The bite symbolized knowledge.
In 1997, Steve Jobs decided to drop the multi-colored Apple logo and replace it by a solid-colored logo.
Actually this is the logo they use. This is an example of a product using this logo
