Prescription Footwear - New Directions - A Seminar

DESCRIPTION

Effective management of the arthritic foot or the diabetic foot can be assisted - or hindered - by our choices with prescription footwear. How do we ensure that the quality of service and product meet expectations? Some new insights are needed. Can we identify some new directions? Relatively few meetings really feature practical knowledge on the important topic of prescription footwear. Is this because we already know everything we need to know? We certainly don’t think so.In this event we are aiming to step back from just looking at the tactics of how we are dealing with these clinical and technical issues. By presenting a more critical and strategic view we will bring to light how we might make the biggest improvements in quality of care in the future. We are going to ask the experts to reflect on their experience and tell us what works well and what could be better. University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. Thursday May 3rd - Diabetes.
