Preschool Chore Charts These chore charts were designed to go along with our workbox system, but
mainly to help us keep better track of the chores that we have our kids do on
a daily basis: some that are expected and some that are paid.
The chart is divided into three parts daily: 4 morning chores, 4 afternoon
chores and 4 paid chores. In our house, the morning and afternoon chores
must be completed in order for the paid chores to receive compensation.
Our chore charts are laminated and we use a Sharpie or vis-à-vis marker to
check off the chores that are completed {the Sharpie can be removed with
nail polish remover; the vis-à-vis can be removed with water}, and we have
‘payday’ once a week.
If you prefer not to use the larger charts, use the last page as dividers for the
chores and punch a hole in the corner of each card and place them on a
jump ring. You might also consider printing the cards off onto magnetic pa-
per (find links in the post below).
There are also blank cards at the end if you would like to write a few of your
own cards and include chores that are not listed in this file.
If you are interested, you can read a more detailed explanation about our
chore charts on my blog by following the link below:
