Preparing the Call out Before taking the initial steps to contact a company it is important that you make sure to have your facts straight, about it. Rule: · DO NOT contact the company if you know nothing about them Step 1: Visit the company’s homepage and read about their products and services. Remember also to read their vision/mission if there is any. This sometimes gives a good idea of how they work. Lastly, also look if they are hiring. This is usually stated on the homepage, and is a good indicator that they might want someone from AIESEC. Step 2: Find out who you should call. When you are trying to find the contact information, see if you can find the direct number for the CEO or the Managing Director. It is easier if you get a hold on the right person right away. Otherwise you risk having the secretary telling you “I’m sorry, he’s not in at the moment…” Tool: Business View AIESEC Denmark | 5te Unit, Njaldsgade 106, 2. sal tv. | 2300 Copenhagen | Denmark Phone: +45 3332 9748 | www.aiesec.dk | [email protected]
